MEETINGS
The next meeting of the group, is scheduled for Thursday the 29th April 2010 at King's Cottage on 18 Dayboro Rd, Petrie, UBD Map 98 L2. Small carpark, more parking over the road at Woolworth's. (Attachment Kings_Cottage_Petrie.pdf shows the venue location.) There is a kitchen and toilets are outside. Please note King's Cottage is not part of the Old Petrie Town complex, so don't go there.
BYO mug. Please wear a name badge too. It helps everyone else get to know you. And my memory for names is admittedly bad, so please save me some embarrassment when you think you know me but I can't remember your name .... I think there might be others in the same boat, too.
The May meeting is scheduled for Thursday the 20th of May at the BCC Hall at the corner of Lister and Gager Sts, Sunnybank. Please note there are FOUR halls within about 100m here. The BCC hall is the one closest to the actual corner of Lister and Gager Sts. We are not meeting in the RSL, Lions, Kindy or Guides halls/buildings. Map from WhereIs attached. Please note: don't park under the trees which have white splotches on the bitumen underneath, otherwise your car might get decorated with bird poo. Starting time 7 - 7.0 pm.
The June meeting is on the Thursday the 24th and will be at Unit 8 / 20 Jijaws St, Sumner Park. This is in a studio, BYO SMALL chair eg camp stool.
On Thursday 15th July, the meeting will be again at Redlands, at the Uniting Church, 47 Marlborough Rd, Wellington Pt, UBD ref map 184 R4, starting from about 7 - 7.30 pm.
All venues will have a $2/night contribution.
It looks like the meetings will be held about every 4 months in the eastern, southern, western and northern suburbs (but not necessarily in that order), so hopefully people will be able to get to one near them or with not too far to travel every couple of months,

but are also not confirmed.
MEETING FORMAT:
Please have no more than 4 images for discussion. The images should be ones you are thinking of entering into salons. We know that people are keen for feedback, but it's also important to look at some international standard work too, amongst other things.
We have been thinking about starting with discussion first, then some display of international images, and then commenting on images. This would allow people who need to get away early a look at the standard that's out there and what we are trying to achieve.
